My name is Shyla Guyer, and I’m a fun-loving and laid back photographer with a passion for capturing those real and genuine moments. I believe in the beauty of simplicity and love incorporating an old-school and rustic touch into my work. My goal is to freeze those authentic, heartfelt moments in time. Nothing formal nor stressful. These photos aren’t your Walmart portraits. Forget proper and polished, just have a good time. Kids will be kids and I want to capture all of that chaos and more. Whether it is a candid smile or burst of laughter, I am all about preserving those precious memories.

I have 2 spunky golden doodles, that is basically my children, and also plenty of chickens and ducks that make my backyard come alive with clucks and quacks. My husband and I are working up to having our own little homestead, by embracing the simplicity of the old times and being more self sufficient. I love to go camping, experience new things outdoors, and finding hidden gems in nature. (which is how I find great locations for photo sessions!).

My superpower is making people feel relaxed and comfortable, which shows in final images.
